Letters : to Alicia Adams Ripley, 1779-1780.

The first letter, 1779 Sept. 28, from Westhampton, Conn., concerns the right of children to receive the Lord's Supper. The second, 1780 Feb. 18, Hatfield, concerns Alicia's reply to an apparent renewal of Enoch's suit. Although she has declared herself "unalterable," he hopes to changeher mind but will say no more of it until he has the opportunity for an explanation.
